Berkshire Bean Bundles for Sale!

The beans have been threshed (by bicycle), cleaned (by 1800s fanning mill), sorted (by hand), and are finally ready to share!

One $20 bundle includes 1 pound of heirloom beans and 3 large heads of garlic.

We have a limited stock and will fulfill requests on a first come, first serve basis by email only. Send requests to littlebeanfarmandpantry@gmail.com with your (1) name and (2) desired quantity. Orders will be received until Wednesday, March 13.

What’s inside each bundle? For each pound purchased, you will two unique “surprise” varieties (a half pound of each) plus three heads of garlic.  

Pickup: Orders may be picked up at the Magic Fluke Co. in Sheffield during business hours (10 am-4 pm) between Monday, March 18 and Friday, March 22. Other arrangements can be made for those who are unable to come during that window.

Payment: Pay by cash or Venmo upon pickup.

Preparation: While you can prepare our beans as you would any store-bought variety (boil then simmer until tender), their flavor is incomparably richer and requires little embellishment. Soaking and rinsing is unnecessary because the beans were grown this year. Our preferred way to serve them is with a pinch of salt– that’s it. A pound of beans can feed about six people a protein-dense meal.
